Main goal

To develop solutions based on machine learning, mathematical modeling, and large-scale language models for cybersecurity, natural language processing, propaganda and disinformation detection, and image analysis.

  Tasks in 2024:

  • Inequalities of zeta functions and distribution of zeros of the zeta function of prime numbers.
  • Efficient machine learning algorithms for password selection.
  • Content recognition in digitized structured documents.
  • Forecasting security prices and investment portfolio formation.
  • Efficient algorithms for calculating and visualizing Mandelbrot covers associated with zeta functions.
  • Limit theorems for combinatorial numbers.
  • Using machine learning to predict the mutation path of viruses.
  • Developing an algorithm for recognizing fraudulent websites.
  • Analysis of similarity measures between text documents and images.
  • Collection and primary analysis of Lithuanian propaganda texts.
  • Propaganda and disinformation recognition and analysis of social impact.

The group was founded in November 2018 (Head of the Group Dr. Virginijus Marcinkevičius) by reorganizing Operational Research Sector.
